I’m Heloisa (eh-loh-ee-suh)

My love for cooking started when I was just 11 years old, growing up in Brazil with my mom and younger sister. The kitchen became my favorite place — not just where we made food, but where we shared laughter, stories, and small moments of comfort. I’d watch hours of cooking videos on YouTube, rush to the market with my allowance, and experiment with whatever ingredients I could get my hands on. The joy of turning simple things into something nourishing stuck with me.

As I grew, so did my curiosity. I explored different diets, spent a few years cooking entirely plant-based, and taught myself how to adapt traditional recipes to meet modern needs. I wasn’t just learning how to cook — I was learning how to feed people in a way that’s thoughtful, intuitive, and full of care.

That journey eventually brought me to the U.S., where I’ve lived for the past 8 years in Cambridge, Massachusetts. For the last 3 years, I’ve been working full-time as a personal chef, cooking for families, professionals, and anyone who craves home-cooked meals but doesn’t have the time to make them. I specialize in meals that are culturally sensitive, allergy-aware, and designed to last — with flavor — in the fridge for several days.

Whether I’m stocking a fridge, hosting a romantic dinner, or teaching a child how to safely hold a knife, my goal is always the same: to meet people where they are, and make their everyday lives a little easier — and a lot more delicious.
